These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CareerLakshya, operated at careerlakshya.com. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Use of the platform
CareerLakshya provides career guidance information including career paths, exam details, courses, and institutions. The information is for educational and informational purposes only. We do not guarantee specific career outcomes or exam results.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@careerlakshya.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Wallet and payments
CareerLakshya offers a credit wallet for purchasing premium features such as exam preparation guides. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. In case of a payment failure where your account was charged but credits were not received, contact us within 7 days.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform; (c) scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data without written permission; (d) post or transmit harmful, offensive, or misleading content; (e) impersonate any person or entity.
5. Intellectual property
All content on CareerLakshya — including career descriptions, exam guides, and platform design — is owned by or licensed to CareerLakshya. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.
6. User-generated content
If you submit any content to the platform (such as profile information or activity), you grant CareerLakshya a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it for operating and improving the platform. You retain ownership of your content.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
CareerLakshya is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that career information will always be current and accurate. Always verify important information through official sources.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, CareerLakshya shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including reliance on career or exam information provided.
9. Account termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
