Content Policy & Copyright
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains what may be shared on CareerLakshya, and how to report copyright infringement or other violations. It works alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. What you may share
CareerLakshya lets teachers and creators publish learning content — lessons, notes, videos, documents, links, and test packs. By publishing, you confirm that you own the content or are licensed to share it, and that it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, or other rights. You are solely responsible for everything you publish.
2. What is not allowed
Do not upload material you do not have the right to share — including scanned or copied pages from copyrighted books, question banks, or test papers, or any content marked “all rights reserved” by its owner. Also prohibited: misleading, fraudulent, offensive, or unlawful content, and content that misrepresents what a buyer will receive.
3. Copyright complaints (notice & takedown)
If you believe content on CareerLakshya infringes your copyright or other rights, send a notice to grievance@careerlakshya.com with: (a) your name and contact details; (b) a link to the specific content; (c) proof or a description of your ownership; and (d) a statement that your complaint is made in good faith. You can also use the Report button on any content page. A copyright report hides the item immediately, pending our review.
4. How we respond
We acknowledge complaints within 36 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days. We may remove or restrict the content, notify the uploader, and act against repeat infringers — up to suspending their account. We do not share an uploader's personal details with a complainant except under a valid legal request or court order.
5. Not what you paid for?
If you bought content or a test pack and it is not what was described, broken, or empty, use the Report button (reason: “Not what was described”). Funds to sellers are held before payout, so we can review and issue a refund where warranted.
6. Grievance Officer
In line with India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Intermediary Guidelines, 2021, you can reach our Grievance Officer, Manish Pradhan, at grievance@careerlakshya.com. CareerLakshya is a product of Sanyasha, a proprietorship firm registered in India.
