• Usage data: pages visited, searches performed, careers and exams bookmarked, and quiz responses.
• Payment information: wallet transaction history. We do not store card or bank details — payments are processed by Razorpay.
• Device information: browser type, IP address, and device identifiers for analytics and security purposes.

We use your information to:

• Provide and personalise the CareerLakshya platform
• Send exam deadline reminders and notification alerts you have opted into
• Process wallet credits and payments
• Improve our content and features based on usage patterns
• Respond to your support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We use the following third-party services which may process your data:

• Supabase — database and authentication (data stored on servers outside India)
• Google OAuth — sign in with Google
• Twilio — phone OTP verification
• Razorpay — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Firebase (Google) — push notifications

Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing their use of your data.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

You have the right to:

CareerLakshya is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the platform or sending an email. Continued use of CareerLakshya after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
